New Inclusive Recruitment Guide Released

The transition into the workforce is a key goal for many NDIS participants. To support this journey, the NDIA has released a new Inclusive Recruitment Guide.

The guide provides actionable advice for disability employment services and standard employers on how to eliminate biases in their hiring processes and create environments where employees with disabilities can thrive.

• Guidelines for conducting inclusive and adaptable interviews.
• Information on reasonable adjustments in the workplace and available government subsidies.

This initiative aligns with the NDIA's broader Participant Employment Strategy, which aims to ensure that 30% of working-age participants are in meaningful employment by the end of the year.
